We are pleased to be able to host another interesting Forum at this year's seminar. The Forum, sponsored by the Women's Worldwide Acupuncture Network, will include a buffet dinner and reception with Ikeda Sensei. Dinner starts at 6:00 pm and the Forum begins at 7:00 pm. You will get the chance to enjoy dinner at the Embassy Suites Hotel while you visit with other conference attendees, including Mr. Ikeda and his assistants. The subject of this year's forum is Mibyo. This means disease that has not yet manifested. In the U.S. acupuncture was primarily introduced as a pain management tool; however, it can be so much more. Many people, even some acupuncturists, are not aware of the awesome potential of acupuncture to treat disease before it manifests. Statistics show that most patients come in with a variety of undiagnosed complaints. As acupuncturists we can see the path of weakness and where disease is developing. So, how do we use acupuncture in our practice? Symptom relief? Promoting good health? Disease treatment? There is so much for all of us to share and learn on this subject. We hope you can attend.
